When you choose SAMCO1 Comics to sell your comic books for you, you can trust us to take care of your books. We carry insurance to ensure that your comics are protected when they are in our care. We first contact you, the owners, to make sure that we will be a great fit for your needs and then arrange with you a meeting in person to evaluate the grades and the prices of the comics. Then, depending on the books, we come to agreement for the consignment fee when each book sells. We then bring the books back in our safe keeping, to list the products on our website for the prices agreed to sell. Please note, that if your wishful pricing is higher after our recommended pricing, then your item may sit on our store longer than other products for sale.

After our meeting, we list the books on our store and promote your products ahead of our own. We create your own collection page to display your comics for sale. We deal with questions, comments, and communication with the buyers on our store to give you a worry free experience. We handle the shipping and the returns.

Payments are streamlined through PayPal. We send your funds 7 days after the item shows delivery. We also send summary reports of your comics sales so that you can keep track for your own peace of mind.

"I don't want to wait to consign my comic books, what can you do for me?"

If you want to sell part of your collection a little at a time, then we can make a deal for comics for us to purchase them from you. Check our our selling comics page for more information.

If time has passed, then we can make arrangements to purchase the book directly from you. Or if you choose to keep the books and have them returned back to you, then we charge a small fee for services we have provided you.

"What books do you consign?"

In order to consign, the value of the book must be a minimum of $100. We consign everything from, KEY books, fanzines, original art and of course, comic books. We consign both graded and ungraded comics. For any books that are signed but without certification, we don't authentic signatures. These books are sold as comics having a "name written".

"Why should I spend money to get books professionally graded?"

There is value in getting books graded and encased in plastic from a third party certification company because it gives the buyer a guaranteed grade for the comic and buyers are willing to pay a premium price for the assurance and for the protection of the comic due to the plastic encasement. We are authorized CGC Dealers that we pass along to you our discount for when you pay for CGC grading. Please contact us for pricing to get your books graded by CGC.

What are our consignment fees?

Our fees range anywhere from 9.85% to 19%. Fees are based on the value of the book along with the condition of the book because of the amount of time needed to list the item. We also have available other services to you to provide the best listing.
